Supports organizational information use and processing by analyzing use cases, workflow, application functionality, data, and system performance.  Based on the analysis will make recommendations to business functions, or act to modify software configurations, workflows, reports, or engage vendor support. 

Typical duties:

  • Support Microsoft SharePoint Services and Dynamics SL accounting system
  • Use SQL Server and BI 360 tools for reporting and analysis
  • Customize Sharepoint and KwikTag workflows to support business processes
  • Administer user access to systems and data
  • Define project requirements, project milestones, software, hardware, and support resources
  • Provide support to end users on relevant systems
  • Write user procedures and system documentation
  • Work with vendors and contractors to support relevant systems
  • Consult with management, users and developers to support and implement business solutions

Requirements

  • Proficient in the administration, configuration, monitoring of Windows SharePoint Services.
  • Must have effectively supported SharePoint solutions in a medium size enterprise environment including integration with other development technologies.
  • Knowledgeable in database management systems such as Microsoft SQL Server 2008.
  • Experience as administrator or technical support for accounting systems.  Microsoft Dynamics SL experience specifically desirable.
  • Development experience in a .NET environment using Visual Studio desirable.
  • Ability to organize and prioritize multiple projects and tasks simultaneously.
  • Strong interpersonal, written and verbal communications skills.
  • A bachelor’s degree in Computer Science or related field with at least two years of practical experience.
